@2dsr+1lj4jvGg You cared enough to read it and reply. I know it bothers you, but it’s just the truth.

What is your point? You don't work at Global. Why would anyone care what you think? You can, and will post dozens of more time, but at the end of the day, nobody cares or listens to any of your tired and boring screeds.

GlobalFoundries had 3 US fabs. They sold east Fishkill. With 2 existing Fabs now, they have have put Fab 8.2 on the back burner after a record profitable year. The kicker is people who survived layoff are beginning to leave. Too funny. All of that wouldn’t be that bad if Global work environment, morale and culture were pleasant. But…… we all know that isn’t the case..

GF could be a good company to work for but not with the existing leadership. I think originally TC made some good decisions on the pivot etc and got GF in the right direction. But then TB and Mubadala got too greedy and wanted more and more profit to make the stock rise at the expense of doing strategic work developing new technologies. Then throw in DR who is more like TB thinking about only gross margins and EBITA and not about investments, the future end up where we are today. To sum things up currently GF is trying to just sell what it has and fill the fabs with existing technologies and not develop anything new other than SiPh and GaN. This of course saves money short term by allowing you to cut development costs but the long-term implications and the culture within the company are ruined under this leadership. Unfortunately, along the way TC became a puppet instead of a leader and now GF is just a financial sponge that will get squeezed more and more and eventually things will go dry and the future will be very bleak. Personally, I'd love to see GF succeed but unless they either sell the company or restructure the complete SLT along with telling Mubadala to stay out of things and let the company run like a real public company, I don't see a path to success for GF which is very unfortunate in my opinion. Let's hope someone buys GF who thinks tactical and strategically or the whole SLT is restructured with people who focus on strategic items, not just tactical.
