Probably buy another company and then run it into the ground?
Netapp doesn't know how to innovate nor how to evaluate and groom external technology.
Remember MARS? Cancelled just before Solidfire was acquired, which in turn was cut loose two years later? What does that tell you about Netapp? Run by a bunch of losers looking no further than the next quarter.

Probably layoff the wrong people in the company.
Him and his goons will ignore the massive bloat around ONCRAP, the useless middle management roles, and ego st-----g bureaucratic sycophants completely. Instead, they'll come after the cloud orgs and rid themselves of the engineers who are actually trying to innovate and evolve the company. They should be careful about who they let go because their competitors have apparently been a safe haven for ex-NetApp employees. Though I'm sure they won't, and it will come down to meaningless numbers.
