Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Stop "bringing problems"!

Rule number one, which I learned the hard way: it is absolutely not allowed to talk about existing problems here. I have done it only once and I was labeled as the one who is "bringing problems" by my manager. They don’t want to hear or know about the issues we have because they want no responsibility.

Those are good for your own reference/memory but will not be recognized as evidence or proof.

Of the document was created on SF device /network, keeping them at home makes no difference, they have access.

Best thing to do is document them.Keep your personal documents highly confidential and keep them at home. let NO ONE KNOW what you have.

I still send them, and document it. would be nice evidence for the unemployment office when State Farm surely tries to deny it.

If your in claims get out. They don't care. Leadership is clueless and only looking out for themselves. This is pretty much the case in every department. EPR is a joke this year as they encouraged departments even through covid to give the most average ratings since the criteria they created is almost impossible to meet and even if you do they still find a way to stick it too you.

Trust me when I tell you that leadership courage that we talk about is really code for troublemakers at the higher levels in management. Any TM who disagrees with the SM or CM or points out a flaw or an issue being created by the "plan of the week" is labeled and targeted as well. The good TMs have accepted they are never getting promoted due to this and continue to speak up for their employees but I can tell you from first-hand experience no one above listens or wants any opinion or concern expressed that does not toe the line.

True, leadership never wants negative feedback about how things are operating . Claim handlers don’t know what the issues are , it’s always upper leadership with out of touch solutions. How upper claims leadership is so tone deaf is beyond me .

During our group meeting I had to grit my teeth not to shout stop the mandatory ot and increase the pay when my Tm asked our group during huddle how can we had a company maintain employee attrition and attract new hires. Then it went on to how great State Farm is and how good OT is for the company.
