This was caste vs caste discrimination. ...but in the US, this is not an issue. Caste is not mentioned anywhere in the US constitution or law.

Caste may not be mentioned anywhere in the constitution or law, but discrimination on the basis of religion is, and the caste system is based on religion, as I mentioned before. So they have a right to file a case.

Those folks should stop clogging up our justice system with this medieval system of theirs. I am in Texas and I don't give a flying fluck about your different castles or castes or cattle.

Nobody gives a fluck that you're in Texas, but you're welcome to "your" opinion that "those folks" should stop clogging up our justice system with this "medieval system" of theirs. And it's not "my" different castles or castes or cattle because I'm an American who can trace his lineage back to the mid 1800's being born in the good ol' US of A.

You know that they say, karma is a b_itch. Just wait for her to kick you in your a$$.

Actually, all Dalits form a great union and they are revolt against Brahmins now. And same with other castes, where almost every caste is revolt against Brahmin.

Mate, the blokes from the subcontinent will continue on. This will go nowhere in your country. Cisco needs cheap marginal developers and will let the caste system continue. The muppets are already developing another hierarchy around “diversity “ and it fits nicely with thd ESG rubbish

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, s-x or national origin. The judge should have just ruled: "Discrimination based on caste is NOT a Civil Rights violation". Case closed.

The system which divides Hindus into rigid hierarchical groups based on their karma (work) and dharma (the Hindi word for religion, but here it means duty) is generally accepted to be more than 3,000 years old.

For centuries, caste has dictated almost every aspect of Hindu religious and social life, with each group occupying a specific place in this complex hierarchy.

It is based on religion. And it's based on being from India, so the national origin question hinges on whether or not Indians were discriminated against vs. non-Indians or vice versa.

Try again.
