Thread regarding Prudential Financial Inc. layoffs

Stacey Goodman is out!

Well, she did her damage. 5 years, threw out all the established executives and brought in her cronies, cut 20% of staff.. and has left the IT team as a shell of its former self. The rampant offshoring and outsourcing systems moved so much away from Prudential maintaining control of technology, data, and skills.
And now she'll be replaced by Scott Case who, reports say, might be less than inspiring. But there will be a convergence of Ops and Systems, so we can expect more "efficiency-driven" changes and cuts while he builds his resume.

How’s it going with narcissistic Case and his arrogant Stephenson bed buddy? Be careful ladies, they love a good evening out away from their wives.

Not surprising at all. I'm actually surprised she lasted 5 years. I knew when she was hired that this was not a long term strategy. She finally pi---d someone at the top off and they kicked her out. So sad to think she was the mastermind behind closing of many Pru satellite offices. I wish her nothing but the worst. I don't normally do that but she impacted so may peoples lives in a bad way. I know that karma will get her one day if it hasn't already. A lot of good people would still be at Prudential today if not for her.

Scott Case and Dan Stephenson seem to have left a mark at Truist, and not a good one. I don't understand why Pru picked them up. I think our new leadership will be a bigger sh-t show than Stacey. I hope I'm wrong but based on what I've seen so far, I don't think I am. Scott is already filing positions with his Truist goons so I wouldn't doubt if there was another "regime change" at the top. I am so sick and tired of the CONSTANT change the last 6 years, constant layoffs, constant flip flopping on how we operate as a company and department (federated, siloed, fu--ing helix?!). Like many, it has greatly affected my mental health and Prudential leadership has shown that they could not give one sh-t less about their employees if they tried.

It’s hard to say but we would rather take Stacey back than this narcissistic Scott Case. He has provided no value and only cares about his ego.

Let us be honest, we had too many resources in IT.
