Back in legacy Husky days, I heard the old CIO and head of IT was removed for corruption reasons. Does anybody the story on that? Somebody about accepting bribes? Am curious if the pulled out the whole corrupt tree. Thanks all and hoping somebody remembers the tea.

@29h sounds like the Cenovus way.
You have to wonder what these people do for the company or who they know that they can su-k so bad at everything yet keep their jobs. Probably some sketchy insider trading connection or they know where to get the best quality discounted co----e in bulk.
According to sources, individuals part of this scandal are still at the top of the current IT structure. They got a free pass for blaming the CIO.
“Leg” got two jags
Aah - Leg Grake, the CIO who just didn't make enough and who was found with two Jags in his driveway.
Did you know that Tata owns Jaguar and TCS? LOL.
Talk about corruption you need to look beyond IT and look at Major Projects among others.
Is it any different now? I assume there are better controls, right?
He also gave a huge IT contract (over 7 figures) to a friend without going through the proper channels
Why all the down arrows? The scandal is part of Husky history and the company is doomed to repeat mistakes if people forget. It's easy to have corruption when contracts to IBM and SAP and TCS have 10s of millions of dollars at stake, but everybody pretending like it's impossible now
Any internal audit department should check hardware purchases and free “devices”. It is common to receive these gifts but they usually end up on children hands… just saying
The wife did not work for Deloitte but for other company which got a big contract. Maybe it was just a coincidence.
Probably is still the same, the right hand one is still there.
@OP The IT manager at one of the US sites was fired due to s-x scandal many years ago. He had a messed up life outside work also. It was in the local news. I think he went to jail for it but unsure.
It was the old CIO, I heard that he took a free apartment in Vancouver from one of the big4 (you can probably guess which one) in exchange for giving them a large IT contract.
Either you are said CIO, trying to relive your corrupt glory days....or you have too much time on your hands and really d-mb friends feeding you this garbage.
