Getting away from Aberdeen is the only thing you need to be winning at life the place is a dump . Always has always will , I honestly can't believe people still work in the city or north sea.
One even became a driver instructor a few years ago. Now driving performance elsewhere

They should do fine as long as they drive them & not manage them.
3 or 4 managers left Aberdeen office to go back to driving taxis
couple of guys left, one became a taxi driver and the other driving a bus and doing very well
I left and became a fish worker and now I drive a merc.
Pay is bad now with these companies why are anyone still working for them.?
You can make far more these days away from the oil industry for half the work.

…I think we are way past that point now.
This is just a last ditch effort to get the remaining workforce to take the strain of a failing management & their every decreasing circles.
The only good thing that will come out of this will be their bonus packages.
No cuts will be able to make up for a failing order book.

They are twisting arms to get everyone to accept the cuts, using fire and rehire as a we-pon. They did this to us at Brent Avenue a few years back. We refused to sign, were fired and rehired , then took them for unfair dismissal. Probably not worth the risk now with the current workload.
