Suddenly, your inbox is flooded with a cascade of "welcome" emails, each one more infuriating than the last. Seriously? Did you really think 500 people needed to know that?

I bet TDA wrote their plugin in VB macros or something else atrocious. Lots of EOL code in that org.
This problem is fixed by send a company wide email correctly. Or if someone doesnt know what BCC is, the annoyed user can simply click ignore on the email.
Schwab used a no reply all plugin for outlook when we hosted Exchange in our DCs. After the 365 cloud converstion, its been missing.
TDA developed an extension in Outlook about ten years ago to warn you if your message would be sent to more than a certain number of recipients (25, maybe?) before sending it. Guess that wasn't retained and adapted by Schwab after the merger.
You can right click on your inbox and then click Mark All as Read. Use your superpower :P read all emails in a millisecond.

It's all about the sender being seen. "hey, look at me." Like so-called "influencers.'
This happens at many companies and it is nauseating.
