I heard FordLabs was shut down and all employees had till end of Summer to find a role internally. Is this verified?

Ford Next was absorbed by stern and those people are now integrated services
Most of them appear to be in their 30s. Seems like the Company has already used their ideas and are now letting them go, waiting for the next batch. I don't know how they even existed, given that no one in the Company has ever heard of them before.

So, none of the following is happ, why does FordNext still exist? Farley’s $5 Billion annual ego? Argo AI is dissolved, the ADT joint venture was DOA, and there are zero startups incubating…

The internal roles won't materialize unless you have deep connections. Use the time to start looking outside the company. Chances are someone has already made that life changing decision for you. They have already accounted for the possibility of those individuals separating, matter of fact they are likely counting on it. Take the hint, and plan accordingly.
