Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

They have nothing to motivate employees

I have a cramp in my stomach every day before I go to work, because even the little motivation I had, they ruined with their culture of fear.

Who is motivated through the fear of being replaceable? My motivation is zero now. I only have a motive to go as far as possible from this company.

By spreading fear, no one has yet achieved greater productivity among employees.

@1zzq+1aUAvgMR Wow you got downvoted to sh-t. You said the god honest truth. I got offered 2 jobs from random phone calls to the company after not realizing I was talking to some real powerhouse innovators. I should have known with the 3 lambos on policy.

Literally didn’t even give them my resume yet, never asked, but they want to interview me and I have 2 b2b days.

This sounds made up I know, but this has definitely also happened to people on past teams, and my current team and they left with 0 notice.

I hoped being patient would pay off and I think it did. Wish I stayed long enough for that partial pension but that’s nothing compared to what you can do if you save your liquid and invest yourself with double the hourly pay.

I realized some rich people are overly nice, they won’t show you but fu-k man they will set you up for success if you enable it.

History confirms SF has done many things illegal. Remember you can pay any expert their price to create a narrative to fit the end result no matter how unethical or illegal the activity. For example: Experts, RicO, consultant companies, and lobbyists. It will never be the ethical nor moral company it once was until leadership moves in that direction which I don't see in the near future. They are no different than the values and ethics of what you see on the news day in and day out. Until they learn that morality creates wealth and a secure work environment, the current work environment will be in constant turmoil. Like I was taught young, you reap what you sow.

There are 3 levels above YI. Any employee can easily verify it. He reports to C.S who reports to P.S. who reports to you know who. Repeat after me sloooowwwly. One, Two, Three.

Yi has total autonomy over claims. If not his role would be eliminated. And there is only 2 levels above not 3.

HR must be on here defending leadership. It’s obvious that leadership does not give a sh-t about providing customers with quality service. They will fire talent and replace with somebody who cheated through high school.
I mean he-l. Just a week ago Yi and other claims leadership got caught breaking fair claim laws and had to backtrack all that was done in the past 6 months.
Legal had to take depositions and it’s likely there will be a suit of some sort.
During the entire process of them breaking these laws they had section managers telling CSs “oh we will never ask you to do something illegal or immoral”. Bull sh-t. Management has lost all credibility and it’s only a matter of time before SF takes a massive down turn like a few years ago. Massive advertising and cutting rates only works so long. Many customers will have to use the service and will realize it’s a sham.

@1dgt. You do know there are 3 levels above Yi? Interesting that he gets top billing in the blame game? Why is that, since nothing you think he is doing can go forward without the approval from his bosses?

@1hze - tonstep? Do you mean Dongguan Tonstep? That has nothing to do with SF. What is your point?

You need to figure out that work takes contribution and you will get compensated for said contribution.

This isnt a subsidy...it is a company asking for employees tonstep up and do all they can do to maintain viability.

Sounds like it’s time for you to move on, a delicate flower such as yourself should look for a lower stress job, or maybe just stay home and polish all of your participation trophies.

State Farm isnt what it once was and never will be the quality company it once was. It is right up there with Nike and American Airlines.....both of which are trashed and I would never use. Yi and Tipsord have taken the company to an all new level of low. Disrespect should not be tolerated at any level. Leadership is the cancer at State Farm. They honestly don't care about anyone unless they fit in. They make people believe they are so ethical when in reality, they are alcoholics, dr-g abusers, and run around on their spouse. They even leave their wife for a person in the company. Look at the inbred inside the company. Sad! They are so ethically deficient, it's ugly! Then, they live a life that all show when deep down inside they are rotting away. Believe me. I know. It's all the way up to the VP level.

You must live in Bloomington. Otherwise go find a job elsewhere. Employers are desperate to find talented people despite what Biden wants you to believe.
