Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Anyone else have COBRA problems after separation under CMS?

After being accepted for CMS and terminating from Intel on 01/31/23, my healthcare providers tell me I'm no longer covered, including mail order pharmacy. Even after applying for COBRA and seeing my first check for premium cleared, no coverage. Numerous calls yield no results.

It shuts off instantly but will be reinstated retroactively when your payments get processed.

@1zsy+1lvTjqiv, up to 3 pay periods for severance. Received mine 2 pay periods after separation.

@tmw+1lvTjqiv, thanks for sharing. Will proactively check for anthem Rx.

Slightly OT question about pay. My last day was end of Feb and I still haven't seen my severance deposited. Is this normal?

Yes, I had an immediate issue with Anthem HDHP rejecting prescription dr-g coverage. After investigating, it turns out that the Group number changed after transferring to COBRA coverage. New cards were issued and I notified Intel that this issue will likely effect other CPM employees.

"It took a month or two for Cobra to kick in after I left, try calling the Intel Benefits hotline."
Four calls, so far, no soap Doc.
