OP was wrong on August 5, and he or she is still wrong now. These stores are not closing. There was a closing list announced last Week and neither of these are on it.

You were correct. The sale to SB360 is complete and now Raleigh is listed because they own it. Just like you promised. Thank you. https://www.sb360.com/select-projects/events/

Sounds like someone incompetent at SB360 with no clue as to what his own company is doing is blathering on here.

Raleigh NC Sears is closing but is not on SB360's page. Are they using a different liquidator (or doing it in-house)?

Ya, the OP needs to show us his proof of Avenel/Marshall.

@8wft+1ccqO0E7 Um, did you just crawl out from under a rock to reply now to something from 1 Week ago? And my statement IS correct. SB360 is contracted to handle ANY liquidations, going forward, for all locations, that Eddie decides to close. There was nothing unclear about my post, and it remains correct.

@2wbe your original statement is still incorrect. All closures are not guaranteed to be done by SB360.

Your ”rumor” means absolutely nothing to any of us here. Take your little trolling party some where else. We’re not buying it.

Well, now you Know. And going forward, 100% of Sears or Kmarts that Ed chooses to liquidate, will be sold to, and done by SB 360.

Wow, didn't know about the long 9 month history of SB360 liquidating less than 1% Sears and Kmart stores.

@1jcs+1ccqO0E7 Absolutely not. My statement is 100% correct and I stand by it. Any Kmart or Sears that is currently liquidating will appear on SB 360's page. Raleigh NC has not yet been purchased by SB360. When they buy the store (and thus begin liquidation), THEN it will be "currently closing" and listed on their site.

@1yya+1ccqO0E7 Thousands of stores? That was BEFORE SB 360 took over liquidations for Sears. Since they took over, circa late 2020, exactly zero stores (with the exception of Astor Place Kmart which was never liquidated), have been liquidated without being on SB 360's page. So going forward, ALL liquidating stores WILL appear on SB's site, as soon as SB 360 LLC purchases those stores and begins liquidation on them. From that point forward, those stores are owned by SB 360 and have nothing to do with Sears other than the sign outside. I work for SB 360, and I'm familiar with this.

Thousands of Sears and Kmart stores have closed without being on the SB360 web site.

Can’t wait for these stores to finally close!

Correct! None of these stores show up on SBC’s website on the actual day the stores are announced to close. As stated below, once liquidation begins, you will see them listed with SBC. Enough already, OP. Go find another subject to entertain your passion for creating drama.

@1zjk+1ccqO0E7 Raleigh is not on SB's page YET. They WILL be, when the actual liquidation starts. THAT is when the store is officially "closing". Right now, they are just preparing to close. When the liquidators arrive, and the liquidation sale begins, THAT IS when the store is listed on SB360, and the "closing" (A.K.A. liquidation) process has begun. It has not begun yet, thus why it isn't listed on SB 360 yet. As for auto centers, they are not really "stores". They are repair garages. When I go to get my car fixed, I don't refer to it as going to a "store" for a car repair. It is a service station. When normal, full-line, Sears or Kmarts close, they ARE listed on SB's site.

Still not true. Raleigh is closing and is not on SB360. There is also a Sears auto center closing. Not on SB360.

Obviously you’re the one trying to troll us with false information since you’re the only one spreading the rumor.

It actually is true. I was referring to Sears/Kmart stores, obviously. The only 4 currently closing Sears/Kmarts are on SB360's page. NOTHING else from Sears or Kmart is currently liquidating, other than 2 CA Kmarts, and the MI & PA Sears, ALL 4 OF WHICH are listed on SB 360's page. So ya, as I stated, all the stores that are currently closing, are on SB's website. I can post a link to it if you wish, or you can just find it.

"I Don’t Know When They’re going to make an announcement"

Of course you don't, because you just made it up. I head a rumor that I'm going to be the tooth fairy, but I don't open a new thread about it every other Day. When it happens, I'll let you Know. No store is closing unless and until it's on SB's list. Post it then, not before.

The last Sears in MI that is closing is in Westland, 92 miles from Marshall.

They are toast after the Sears closes in Marshal, Michigan. The liquidator that is doing the Sears in Marshal can just start on the Kmart in the same town. The Kmart in Avenel can be closed in a couple weeks as it has almost nothing to sell.
