Obviously these are managers who already have a new job lined up otherwise they are gone.

Lean on me- You are so right. It is so refreshing to see someone being realistic about what is going on at belk. It is not just annoying and stressful anymore it is downright abuse. And as for the other post about being grateful for having a job. That is such a bunch of bull. When did it become a luxury in this country just to have a job. And most of the jobs just feed more money into the wealthy peoples bank account while the workers make starvation wages. The american people are so brainwashed that they actually think it a bad idea to raise minimum wage. Sycamore is a perfect example of how disgusting people have become. They will pull what they can out of belk, give themselves a huge payment and then dump it. Not caring how many people they put out of a job.

You calling people rednecks! Those rednecks are buying the items that help you get a paycheck. Stop calling people names. That's so ignorant.

@1zfq+17VznGaG, I think every associate who posts on the site is grateful to be getting a paycheck. But gratitude doesn't mean putting up with bs continually because you need the money. If a company can getting away with taking advantage of their employees they will do it in a heartbeat. At some point employees should say, hey, wait a minute. This isn't right. Belk can do better. It's not the people as much as it is the process of how they want things done. There is a disconnect between what corporate believes is best for the stores and what store associates and managers experience every single day. it's one thing to be at a desk on Tyvola making these decisions and another to have to on the floor unnecessarily shifting the same merchandise around every other day, dealing with super long lines and irate customers, pushing these high interest cards to people who probably can't afford it, annoying them for email addresses and this stupid app, giving zero hours for any kind of recovery, no loss prevention, shorter lunch hours, more frayed nerves. Sometimes you have to do something to make the executives listen.

Nobody is calling out. That is BS. If you want to be a follower thats fine. Your more respected as a leader. Don’t listen to these fools. They are spreading hate. It’s hard to get a job out there. Be grateful for what you have. We all should be....

Oh they are believe me. But if the managers don’t show up, associates can’t even get in the building.
