To the below. Show me the science other than Fauci and the CDC. You know there are many doctors and scientist in this world that disagree with Fauci. The media and admin have made him the guru, but in reality would it not be smart to listen to others and take their opinions in as well. Fauci has been compromised as just a media wh--e. This is the same man that said masks were not needed and would not protect anyone from Covid. Once he saw the mask game could get him on TV he went full mask. Do you really think tying panty hose type material around your face helps you? I have been vaccinated and will take the booster as well, but just don't assume your sources are the only ones that know something about Covid. I would much rather work with someone that had the antibodies from Covid than someone who has not had Covid or the vaccine. There are also studies that show even after being vaccinated people still don't have the antibodies, and that is why it is smart to go do your doctor and get a blood test even after getting the vaccine.
Protection from having the virus is not as good as with the vaccine. Sometime the man made engineered stuff is better than what nature gives. Do you remember how bioengineered food was slammed by the ignorant population who couldn’t comprehend it. Another case where the uneducated should not be allowed to roam freely.
CDC should actually record the natural immunity from having the virus. In the USA there has been 37 million confirmed cases. Add that to the 356 million doses of vaccine administered and you have many people that are protected a list some way or another.
These people just pull out the good book to explain their hypocrisy. If I believed in book burning that would be the first one in the fire. What a bunch of brainless mo--ns.
As per CDC even if vaccinated breakthrough cases are reported they are 0.001% of total vaccinated. The delta hospitalizations have 90% unvaccinated people. So clearly the data shows the biggest threat is unvaccinated people. That’s the reason for asking for weekly testing. That’s the price you pay for your body your choice (and by of course to keep your job). I don’t really get the hypocrisy of people opposing ab-----n (with acceptable reasons like abuse, medical reasons at whatever stage) but not getting vaccinated to save already born human beings. Isn’t that a sin to careless ki-l your neighbors?

What about growing up. Your attitude is very immature. Get the vaccine if you can or get tested. Otherwise you are out. What more do you people want? Really listen to yourselves. You are like children who want everything but don’t want to give anything in return.
What a sneaky way to make people reveal their health and vaccination status! Seems like veiled threats, must be vaccinated or else come October you are OUT. This is an indirect way of forcing vaccinations as opposed to vaccine mandates. What about people who cannot take these and have medical exemptions? Plus blatant segregation and testing of the unvaxxed vs the vaxxed. What about the vaxxed carrying variants? How can unvaccinated be safe against untested vaxxed carrying COVID? The vaxxed should be tested weekly too prior to coming into the office!
If you fake it that means you really don't care about your co-workers or their families. Everyone that does not want to get vaccinated has an out, and that is just get tested like Oxy says do. That is not too much of a sacrifice is it? You could be told to get the vaccine period or don't come back. No one is saying do that, so just hold up your end of the request. If you don't want to or can't get the vaccine then get tested or quit.
That is a federal document and they could go to prison for forgery of the card. What a mistake that would be.
I don’t understand why people who don’t want the vaccine dont just fake the card. It’s just a little piece of paper. How in the world could anybody be caught lying? (Unless they just confess on their deathbed)
Society doesn’t care whether people are good performers or not. If they can and don’t get vaccinated then run them off. As a group they have done enough damage already by not getting vaccinated. There are plenty of great people who can take their jobs.
I hope this goes away soon, but I am sure it is not. I am vaccinated and I did that for myself and family because it is my decision. There are people in my group that are not vaccinated, and they have their reasons and I respect that. These people are also very high performers, and if we lose them over this testing we are losing some good people. The test is not very pleasant up the nose and I would not blame someone for not getting that once a week, so work from home is much better than losing the ones I know. Believe me I work with slackers that just suck the company dry. The ones that actually produce increase productivity ten fold over the slackers. Oxy needs to be very careful about who they run off.

October may be too soon given Delta spread, although I am thankful WFH is extended. Cases ramping at GW5 so been told.
How would you feel if your child less than 10 years old came up with covid and had a bad time in pediatric ICU? That is what some families are facing now. It is so disrespectful for people to not see the masks and maximum vaccination as the road to fighting Covid.
Look at the bigger picture, Mandatory Vaccinations! Vaccine Passports! For a Something that is 99.8% survivable for most people. What happened to the cold or Flu? It’s not about a virus.
Give us full control of your body, or else we will stick things into your orifices. Don’t like it? Well you and your family can go hungry then.
Ge-z. I had the vaccine, but some of you people sound like Josef Mengele. If you have been vaccinated, what are you worried about? What about religious or moral objections? What about people who can’t get the vaccine because of autoimmune diseases?
The test way up the nasal orifice has been replaced by a less penetrative test. So I have been told.
Wasn’t someone asking about layoffs? We’ll this is how ya do it. Get vaccinated or you are out. FDA approval should be out and enough time passed to get shots by the end of October. I totally see this as the path we are going down.
Personally I’m glad for wfh again. I’m worried sick about the little kids who can’t get vaccinated. Plus the time and expense saved every day.
But I’m worried about peer pressure and being the only one who wants to wfh and how that will impact my career. Yes, I’m vaccinated but my kids aren’t and can’t yet.
Time will tell.
It is a good call, but people are going to have to give up their info in regards to vaccinated or not. I see it as you are either vaccinated by the end of October or you are gone. Also, lie on the vaccination question and that will probably get you fired. If you are tested weekly who covers that 100.00 a week charge, and do you get that money back. If not that is an extra 400.00 a month out of your pocket. Plus, the test up the nose is not comfortable.
This is stupid just plain stupid. Just tell the people not vaccinated to find another employer. It is that simple. Enough said.
