My God everyone in STS is stretched out to the max. Teams are being asked to do more at 70% to 50% capacity. My team lost half of our engineers and the workload keeps getting worse. We were told today no more overtime but we have to work more than 40 to make ends meet. There's no way I'm hanging in for the duration of this madness. We get no support, no help, the service desk is the worst it's ever been and nobody cares. This has become a toxic environment with apathetic leadership. I've been here ten years and I'm out. Just had an interview today and I urge others who are frustrated to do the same. Regardless of what they tell you there are plenty of jobs out there. Good luck to everyone

Don't work more than 40 hours unless you are salary and they are paying you really well.
TOXIC comes from the top down!!!! The people at the top are what is harming or ruining the environment from their mismanagement - which is typical Schwab - probably looking for a company to scoop them and their BANKS up!!! Especially since Charles is no where to be found
Rick really said all the MODERNIZATION will stop - what kind of company is he leading - if you don't continually keep up you are SOL - are they looking to be bought out? Which may be one reason they want the stock high???? Really
@1zak+1q6bX20E like Rick said in all hands mtg, all the STS modernization projects will cease EO 2023, it is all maintenance from there on. I feel for my bros and sis' on and offshore. Please take your time to upgrade your skills and be ready.

Lol at offshore being an option. They are horrible. There's no accountability, no communication, terrible structure, and shady tactics. If Schwab goes that route customers will be severely impacted

Keep an eye on where your high level folks sit, have they moved locations, have they sold a house or bought in a new location, easy to look up, especially if you know someone in real estate. Things are shifting, keep an eye out and keep us posted! Maybe not the high level folks, but those associated with them it happens with first!?
I know a good company man over at TaRGET that will lick your ice cream cone. I don't blame any of them at TaRGET, it just doesn't get talked about much, because they are all too afraid and make too much dinero to make waves.
If they end up outsourcing most of STS to offshore resources I would be afraid to be a customer. Most of the time offshore support ends up screaming they need help from a senior onshore member to restore whatever happens to be F'd up that day.
I mean, look at how the offshore numbers have grown.
To say STS is toxic is paying it a compliment. If I didn’t know better, and I don’t, they’re plotting an implosion to legitimize shipping the entire thing offshore.
