@gklz+14fSbQ2l where did you get your information? i don't doubt presidents will be turned into regional general managers or something, but firing vp's and 35% of sales doesn't make sense.
Heard today all Core Presidents and VPs will be let go, 35% of Sales and Technicians as well.
Do Cores even need presidents and veeps anymore? What’s the point? They can’t make any decisions anyway. I thought a layer of management is getting wiped out anyway?
I apologize, ComDoc is not shutting down but there are moves in place. Best buddies becoming president and Vice President, VP of HR randomly got a top dog position at Xerox.
The HCL rebadged are being laid off today and tomorrow (which we all anticipated) and most stayed on to milk HCL all we could.

Top sales not going anywhere —tell me, who are you going to sell to? Most companies will have to downsize to save $, do you seriously think you will be selling anything anytine soon?

Really shocked techs have not been laid off, they are sitting around doing nothing!

If you are not actively seeking a job elsewhere you are either retiring soon, very wealthy, or optimistic to the point of insanity.
If I were a betting man I would say that layoffs are coming. Big, big time layoffs.
With the failure of the HP deal, and lost revenue because of the virus, I expect plans are being discussed now for reductions. I assume this may take weeks at least to work out.
I'm shocked that there hasn't been layoffs or furloughs right now. Our core covers many large school districts that are all closed. Most service techs have 1-2 calls a day. Sadly it is only a matter of time.

The carcass of Xerox is lying on the floor, the butcher's knifes have done their job, not always intentionally but with the same effect. The greed of the butcher overcame the smell of the blood as he slew the giant of his youthful days at market...... One of his last great conquests lay on the floor...strewen with human remains but the butcher was oblivious behind his chain mail armour.... And in his delight he closed the curtain.... What do you mean by ComDoc’s last day is the 3rd? Entire core is being shut down? Or did you merge with another core? I thought ComDoc was a pretty big core. Sort just trying to clarify.

I’ve been through 54 rounds of layoffs I can’t imagine there won’t be a 55th.
The economy has ppl at home not printing and the HP thing went bust when they lost the bank funding (Coronavirus+macroeconomics is code for bank pulled all of your funding)
Company has absolutely NO WAY to produce office style printers come 1/1/21 when the Fuji deal ends.
Company is a fast sinking ship. Will be sold for its parts as mr I gets desperate to recoup some of his money.
ComDoc’s last day is the 3rd. We only found out a week ago (were told 2 weeks) but the HR decided to take time off during that week...
