Retraining? I know people on here joke that Pepsi is like a prison but...
If you're losing skills by being in a role that's on you. Every role you take should be growing your skills and experiences in some way. You take all that with you wherever you go. Pepsi is a sh-t show for reasons we all know but there is definitely not a shortage of opportunities to do different things here and fill out your resume if you're willing to put your foot down and go after it
@1yql+1vmgbTfj - Accept it gracefully. You never know what the future is going to hold and it's more money out of Pepsi for your own growth.
One of these clowns just called me. Offered job searching, retirement programs, etc. I said hold up, why are you calling me. They said we received your information from pepsi. I said well you can tell pepsi to kiss my a$$. I took vrp, and could not be happier, you worry about you lady. The nerve of pepsi.
As part of a package there are comprehensive career programs that they offer.
I left last year on my own with over 20+ years; they did used to care. Don't know what happened over the last 10.
GTFOOH with that cr-p, they are done with you which is why they laid you off in the first place so they definitely don't care about you when you are leaving!!
O. They will isolate and disconnect you
Of course they can. They just choose not to. That would require them to spend money on a program instead of adding to Athina and Ramon's 7 figure bonus.
they might also provide extended benefits such as access to health insurance for a limited period, which can be critical for folks who need access because of prexisting conditions, etc
