Massive employee retention plan coming

Been hearing a lot positive things. Goal is to not lose employees to Micron over the next few years. Big benefit boosts coming, pay raise over 2% and referral bonus!!! Make sure too include and thank your leadership in your survey for turning things around when other companies are in decline.

There wasn’t any resources in December. Boomer not standing up for their best interest. Keep letting them walk over you. We can call you pancake Sam

All I see is Gen Z looking at their phones, talking about the most mundane things, with excitement, while not contributing to meaningful manufacturing output. No cap!

You're just angry that Gen Z won't take the corpo sh-t anymore. You're too afraid to stand up for yourself in the work place, and get ran through like a good little hardworking lacky while your managers and execs make all the money from your "hard work". Which is hot leveling some tools, sending quals and updating some basic recipes. Real back breaking labor you have there. Just because skibidi frightens you, doesn't mean you can't lose the ohio rizz.

Lol typical response. Gen Z is doing that while they wait for you to complete your task. They have been done for hours sometimes days waiting. They are not gonna just twiddle there thumbs and they were told by management not to do your job. You have to expose the weakness to address them.

Yeah right! We can count on an illiterate GenZ to be have their collective heads planted in their phones and backsides all day, while I, GenX, cleans up all your generational messes.
I see "boomers" that do actual work. I can count on my "boomer" counterpart to do what the entitled "GenZ" won't do or doesn't have the experience to do, and I can appreciate the quality of work from a "boomer" every time.
"GenZ"-just need to get over yourself and focus on your own job, not everyone else. Go drink some soy or oat milk and do some actual work for a change.

I think it’s more to get these boomers to leave. Gen Z does their job 3 times as fast. We ham it right out while waiting for them to do their job. Working with boomers is the worst.

GF does need to do something about retention. I don't see anything significant coming. In the US, I guess one can ask if GF's master plan is to outsource more and more, it is like they treat employees so bad they want them to leave. This approach I guess is cheaper than layoffs, treat them like dirt so they leave on their own and the company doesn't have to pay severance packages. Skills and experience leading to differentiated technologies are not appreciated at GF, this is why the company is not a differentiated foundry and will sink playing against Asian fabs on price alone.

What about the TSMC fab in Dresden? Mass exodus to them coming. These companies smell blood in the water and are coming to eat GF’s lunch

The timing is suspicious.. it’s almost like HR came in today and this was there first assignment. I would laugh at another company doing this but since I work for them, I am numb to this.
