Although most people would probably never come back to this company after leaving it, there might also be some who would come back despite everything. What do you think is the percentage of those?

If you take the VSP you can not work for GM as a contractor,FT or subsidiary for 3 years.
I liked working at GM. The VSP is just too much money to reject. I'll probably be back in 3 years a level hire and 30% higher salary richer.
@1ymc+1lGRMif4 ... '83 monte carlo, man... crisp lines, plenty of leg room! bring it back!

Some in my group who were laid off 2019 returned to GM, even to the same group.
Others found positions in completely different groups.
I know some who have been laid off during the recession and 2019 and have came back each time [not sure if I would; never would return back to ex imo]
They might not allow you to come back for a length of time. Very likely a line item in the terms for the separation package.
You can always work for a competitor or supplier.
I had a 1981 Buick Regal with Kreiger Classics that I loved and therefore would take a job there as long as I got a good sup. The regal, Monte Carlo, and Grand Prix were great.
lol
Why would anyone go back to an abuser?
