Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Should we expect something big?

With JB leaving or getting fired...sounds like something big is coming. He really was one of the last old guards around that actually had an idea of what insurance/SF is/was! Usually guys like that go out with a little more flare, recognition or advance notice etc.... I know it is all speculation but just curious on your thoughts? Trolls....please stay out of these and keep the id--tic 7th grade comments to yourself....

Pension buyout?
Salary/WFH changes? Reducing pay
Agency Contract Change?
PTO buyout?
Layoffs/LOC employees
Or things are sooo messed up, soooo bad he does not want to be on 60 minutes or testifying under oath?

@cnmd Me too. It was basically like do whatever to not accept liability. To be the best example of what they want to see you gotta lie, cheat, leave it for someone else to accept the liability and do whatever it takes to meet the goals of the strategy coming from corporate. Don’t think that’s how it should be for some reason? Tough $hit! You wanna work here? Do it or you get a bad rating or put on an action plan or talked to every day about it if you don’t. It’s like it’s nobody’s place to have some questions about any of it, at least that’s the way the TM was about it. It’s totally unethical to be treating their people like that, and it still is if it’s still going on like this. It’s a cheating culture and they might have to own it someday.

@1xum+1aSwcEi8 God I hope so. Told my TM just how much bad faith this was until I was blue in the face.

My observation as a contractor. The claims departments internally are royally fu---d they have very few people that are actually qualified to look at a car, and even less people that understand the paperwork involved to get you paid.

As an outsider looking in I really think it’s only a matter of time until SF gets that next huge class action billion dollar suit. I’ve lost count how many delayed claims affecting rental I’ve ran into.

I really don’t know how they can legally settle claims with people that from the outside looking in don’t have a clue.

I get asked by agents all the time to break policy for people primarily you guys call the bottom 20%.

If asked the by the gov at this point I’ll probably just tell the truth. What I get paid isn’t enough to cover for how hard their employees make my life.

This thread is so full of stupidity that I think you all gave me an aneurism. Obviously full of SF’s “best” and “brightest”. I feel sorry for whoever you report to, she or he must struggle to smile when they see your ignorant faces or hear your d-mb voices. When god said get in line for brains, you thought she said “trains” so you got in the dummy line instead. That zinger is courtesy of my dad, and I’m sure most of you are FULL of dad jokes.

Sounds to me as if it was personal and he wanted to leave while there was still a mound of ground left, before it became a pit.

After the call center sweat shop office upgrades, I never really cared for the guy.

I’m sure he took a greasy job at a call center with his visions of sweatshops.

I say WM is going to take his place. Fine example of more leadership who is angry and cares less about tge associates.

My supervisor told me she would close 5 claims a day. Mind you she hadn't been a CR in over 20 years. I welcomed her to pick 5 of my claims and close them. That was the last time she made a mo--nic comment to me. Laughable stupidity.

I hear there is current legal peril for State Farm because they were coaching claim employees for accepting liability.

The claims ninja has been expressing his disgust for his area’s performance-looks like more than a coincidence. Clearly, no one is safe.
