Apparently next week there is going to be a shareholder meeting for Hilco to Liquidating the company. Any Truth to this?

Besides the people who worked within the Harmon concept does anyone remember Harmon or even notice it doesn't exist anymore? It was an irrelevant store out in the wild with other stores selling the same merchandise for less along with better merchandise. The same can be said for BBB and Baby now. They are struggling to stay in business, building much deeper debt just so the C Suite can get a bigger cash out in the end while regular employees get nothing. Hilco has has nothing to lose, it's their merchandise. When BBB goes out of business they will just push it to another branded store to sell and they will make their money.
The shareholder meeting is in May, to vote on the reverse split.
Are they not closing anymore stores till may 6?
@1vkv+1lZRzwVG Stop already with this nonsense
“Bed Bath & Beyond calls for May 9 shareholder meeting to vote on reverse stock split proposal“
- Basically that’s it. Everything else is just rumors that individuals are making up from thin air. Just a meeting to vote on the stock split.
Baby won't survive either. That concept is struggling just as much. Haven't they shown quarter over quarter sales declines as well?
They are going to liquidate Bed Bath. The May shareholder vote is to prepare for the eventual separation of Baby into its own company.
All of the companies Hilco worked with are all out of business.
This doesn’t look good folks.
