Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

I recall during a job interview here

When the hiring manager mentioned that when layoffs happened there, that they had often stepped in and stopped some of a few who they felt were really hard working from being let go. I wonder do many managers do this?

@1vkc+1p19dj2X Yeah. I agree it's who you know. When the are asking right now about experience, brief meetings with the boss(es), and future interest all for optics or deciding who is laid off or shuffled around.
