LAPC are sitting waiting on the next stock vesting due early March - Tons of cash and very few Oxy stocks thanks to the almost all cash deal AW negotiated - So LAPC guys are getting a ton of money even if LOXY dont give them CoC and we are contributing very little to the equation
Best just bite the bullet Vicky and give us VSP or CoC and get on with your lives
This is just one big endless circle. It will only end when enough cumulative revenue is generated to pay the debt off. Forget about either growth or dividends for a long time.
@1uyh+19wcubei Hope many times does it have to explained to you people. OXY can’t do layoffs right now because of the Anadarko COC. If they layoff legacy APC folks before August 2022 they owe those people a big big pile of money. So they don’t want to do that... It would very unfair if they only laid off legacy OXY people. So they won’t do that either. Why do you think we have these bizarre VSP’s from management? The “name your months” plan? Come on people think... it’s not that hard.
@1uyh- Are you the same guy who keeps complaining about how stockholders are being mistreated? Employees are stockholders too, so your experience is hardly unique. The big difference is we sell the c-ap soon after we get it, which is something you appear incapable of doing. Don't blame us for your stubbornness.
Also, do you really think layoffs would bring back your precious dividend? Who do you think keeps this company afloat? Oil doesn't find, produce, and transport itself. We do!
Oxy should be having major layoffs now with the extreme amount of corporate overhead they have. Why hasn’t that happened yet?
I hope you are not expecting a bonus. It would be nice, but we are still in a pandemic and other oil companies are still laying off. Conoco-Phillips we be laying off hundreds this week, and there are so many people out there that would be happy just to have a job more less a bonus. You might just be setting yourself up for disappointment.
Just curious about something. What did the company actually accomplish last year? Please, only public knowledge accomplishments.

God I hope so. Oxy has screwed us enough in 2020 so it feels long overdue.
