Watson Health? Are they even still around? Didn't that get sh1t-canned after they screwed up that medical diagnosis and doctors found it wasn't useful?

What about Watson Health? Have they really done anything since the 4Bil spent?
Did anyone ask their managers proacively about layoffs and if they are impacted? Is it a wise thing to do than worry about the axe on our head?
Good news is that NewCo will not be tied down to using any IBM tools/processes.
Once that umbilical cord is cut most teams will run fast and far away as possible.
This is a Godsend for teams who's major pain points are IBM itself.

GTS is not toast ! PLEASE pay attention. IBM has already said they will land in Newco. IBM did this because GTS has to restructure to a low margin highly competitive workplace. They are in the process of doing this, and a lot of folks will get displaced. Will they emerge a leaner meaner organization? Yep, and if they restructure accordingly, they will emerge as a leader in their segment.
GTS is toast. Bunch of losers anyway.
