Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Covid just accelerated it

They are cutting, cutting, and more cutting to stay afloat until they're able to sell the company. The business is dying, and Covid just accelerated it. Renewals and installs are dropping fast, and there's not enough time to get these other services businesses up and running, and profitable, before the checking account is empty.

ID @vcy+1dE32sTP. I wonder how much do you think COVID accelerated the downfall of X?

Look at all the pro-vaccine bots that were created to downvote any post that is either against the mandate or actually posts true data about the vaccines. It's almost like we need to start reading just the posts with the highest number of downvotes to get the truth.

To everyone saying "get the shot to protect others", please do some research. I think the most recent data comes from the UK or Israel.

None of the vaccines, jabs, or shots prevent you from getting the virus.

None of them prevent you from passing it on to others (Google the term "breakthrough infections").

Yes, they will reduce the impact the virus has on you. But they do not prevent you from catching it or passing it on to others.

I'm not against getting the shot. I got it myself. But please let's use facts when discussing it.

Yes it’s called Freedom. Try it some time. Thank you for enlightening us with your opinion. By the way I still have 6 people working at xerox that I keep in close contact with. So much for your so called facts. You are just jealous that I am trying to help people get out of the xerox nightmare and not kneel to the government. This is not Red China yet. So that’s your answer Professor. So, I’m a troll who doesn’t work at xerox so I don’t have a clue huh?
Well played. But I doubt that you care about anyone or anything. The difference between you and i simply stated is that I refuse to comply with people that think they know what’s best for me and everyone else on the planet. Who left you in charge? Oh that’s right your the Professor that knows what’s best for everyone. He tells us what we should be doing, and if we don’t do it, we are sc-m and completely incompetent. Not to mention heartless. I’m so glad that you explained that to us peons and heathens. Peasants might be a better word coming from the Elitists that are out of Control. I’m laughing back at the Superior Intelligence Professor.

Pleased to hear that Manohmanichevitz is no longer with Xerox.
And yet he spends his time on a Xerox layoff site. When he can no longer offer any insights into things happening within the company.
Just another troll.
Sad, but based on his little temper tantrums here, unsurprising.

You do nothing but stir the p-t. And insult people. To say you are useless would be an extreme upgrade. Laugh all you want. As no doubt you voted for Biden. You need all you can get to feel better about yourself. You are a rabble rouser and here to do nothing but demand your opinion be accepted.
Regardless of how much you sugar coat it. You don’t decide for me. Deal with it.
You have all the answers Professor. Ponder why people might have different opinions than you do, without labeling us criminals or incompetent. By the way I left xerox for this exact reason. Kinda figured I would use some of the money I have saved over the years to take it easy and not let people like you get away with what you are trying to do. Respect other people’s opinions. It’s not that hard Professor.
Like it or not I’m here to stay as long as God decides. Not You and certainly not Joe Biden and his Progressive Left. Whoops that makes me a Qanon flat Earther. I forgot. 🌎 Have fun laughing Professor, the joke might be on you.

Great examples below of symptoms of fear and paranoia at xerox. Wonder why there’s been no growth or innovation here? It’s cultural.

Wow, guess I really triggered our resident emotionally fragile adolescent (yep, I'm talking about you, Manohmanishevitz ). Thanks for demonstrating my point so well.

That was quite a litany of conspiracy theorist blather you laid out. Don't get me wrong, You have every "right" (as you say) to ignore the consensus opinion of the overwhelming majority of medical experts across the world, in favor of whatever fringe silliness you've chosen to accept. And the rest of us have the right to laugh our as--s off and shake our heads in incredulous disbelief when we read your views. And we do, trust me.

I truly hope you do not work for Xerox (or soon will not, if the vaccination requirement holds). I see no possible upside to employing people who exhibit such poor analysis and decision making skills.

@1tlk

No that’s not true. Qanon is far worse than an average Republican, though their sanity may sometimes match. People who part Qanon are bunch of creepy childlovers who also worship the devil and purposely go out of their way to troll on the internet, deliberately spread misinformation, and probably think Trump is the reincarnation of Satan (in a good way). We can joke that these are also like Republicans but at the end of the day, realistically, no comparing yourself to Qanon is far from accurate.

My mom is a stanch conservative but she finally got vaccinated back in August because she wanted to travel. At the end of the day, yes it is your choice to get vaccinated, but it’s really not only you that you’re protecting COVID from. You’re also protecting people who are within that tiny percentage where the vaccine does not work for their bodies. The vaccine isn’t perfect for every body, even though we would want it to be that way. Also, yes, some people may experience adverse effects from getting the vaccine but statistically speaking, those chances are far smaller than someone who gets adverse effects from COVID. There’s a new argument that talks about how people should just build a naturally immunity against COVID but statistically speaking (again), less than 33% of people of have contracted COVID, their immune system has been stronger.

Not getting vaccinated can be considered risky if you do the mathematics. I also believe that people should get vaccinated but mandates are pretty excessive. At most, the government and companies should have the resources to let people work remotely if they don’t get vaccinated to minimize the risk of exposure. But there are accommodations already in the work place for those who need exemptions for this mandate, so why even create a mandate in the first place? It doesn’t make a lot of sense.

To say the mRNA vaccines “aren’t vaccines” is laughably ridiculous. They are incredibly safe and effective vaccines. But if you want a traditional vaccine, get J&J. It (and other vaccines of this style available outside the US) might be less effective than either Pfizer or Moderna, but they’re still quite good.

Yes, mRNA has been studied. But not TESTED. There have been no extended large scale tests (you know, like vaccines normally go through) done on mRNA. Just the short, small group tests that were done for only a few months last year.

By the way, I'm a Democrat, voted for Biden, and support anyone getting this jab that wants it. But DON'T call it a vaccine, and DON'T force people to get it.

What an ignorant response. Because you don’t agree with me. Suddenly now I’m Qanon and I’m nothing but trouble. I am tired of people mindlessly going along with the mainstream media like lemmings jumping off a cliff. You people do whatever you want to do, and so will I. Now I’m Qanon dude. I thought i was flat earth guy. Come on man make up your mind.
I guess I don’t have a right to an opinion anymore. It’s not like you would listen anyhow. History will make its judgement on this, whether you agree or not. Like it or not.

Brand new mode of action? mRNA has been around and studied for 60 years. Layoff Qanon dude

Feel better that you said that? I bet you are still as miserable as ever. Although you would never admit it.
Chalk this up as another useless comment that you don’t understand and can’t comprehend. Yes I keep forgetting, just by me existing is ki----g thousands, no millions! I’m a flat earther now. Okay. Liberals always hurl insults when they are unsure what to do. You are truly a piece of work.
Just know my vote cancels out yours. Have a wonderful nite Professor. It’s good to be a Democrat. Really it is. Sure. Kinda figured this is what I would get from you Elitists.

To ere+1dGFkzC6:

Those vaccines are very different.

  1. They are actually VACCINES. Meaning, they prevent you from getting AND passing the virus.
  2. They had years of testing and development, not rushed into production using a brand new mode of action.

So because I don’t get the forced vaccine, I’m a petulant adolescent huh?
Ok professor. You know everything and have all the answers, tell me this master of the universe. Why would people trust the government and the cdc for anything now? They have lied and been wrong on more than one occasion. Quit watching MSNBC and CNN and getting your skewed facts. After Trump left office, all they had was the virus for viewers to watch their network. Now they have latched on to this and they don’t want to focus on Joe-joe being such an incompetent fool.

Nothing I say or anyone else can say that will alter your “talking points”. But realize that people have the right to freedom and must fight to protect that right. Nothing that You say, or the cdc, or the UN, or Joe Biden says is going to change my right to how I feel about this. Zero credibility in my book. I don’t trust anyone in government right now. Everyone is on the take, or was promised something for keeping this going. Sooner or later the cookie jar is gonna be empty. Then they will come for people like you. They destroy their own, for their best interest, or their own greed.
I don’t shove stuff down your throat, so don’t do me like that.
Why don’t you smoke your pipe professor and ponder some of this.
God forbid you learn something, …we can’t have that now. Can we? That’s just unthinkable and unforgivable.

And xerox has sold their soul to the devil completely as well. Why do you think that most of these posts tell people to get out now? It’s mostly negative.
It’s not competitors doing this! It’s people who still have friends that are there and are blindly hoping for miracles. Maybe more. Trying to wake them up and get them out. That’s all. No other Purpose intended. You don’t want to see xerox crush them or the government for that matter.
But I forgot …you have All the answers don’t you. Sorry that we tire you out of your Interests and bore you. My lack of emotional maturity prevents me from being more detailed here.
Take another hit on your pipe professor. It seems to help you ponder.

All these "I will not comply" people remind me of petulant adolescents. Resisting something that is in their best interests (and, in this case, the interests of others) solely because somebody told them to do it. Ever hear the phrase 'cutting off your nose to spite your face'?

This is so tiring. I hope Xerox keeps December as the required vaccination date. Getting people who have never achieved a post-adolescent level of emotional maturity out of the company can't be a bad thing.

We worked for a year and a half with no vaccinations and we’re told to go wherever for calls. Now suddenly we can’t take out our garbage without a shot and a booster? Xerox and the feds care for us so much now. I will Not Comply. Way too fishy on this.
Covid is absolutely real. 100%. But the way they are going about this ..Stinks to High Heaven. Something is Not right.
They are way way too eager. I’m not just going to follow the lead of our illustrious and clueless leader. Decision made. There is way more going on behind the scenes here.

This place is Toast. Burned with no butter or jelly. In fact I think the toaster burned down the building as well.

Covid is only an excuse for extremely bad management at this place.
