I am exhausted and on the verge of burnout. Expectations are huge. Deadlines have become unreasonable and I don't know how much longer I will be able to sustain this pace of work.
Is it just my feeling, or in the past few years that I've been working here, deadlines have never been tighter?

Act your wage
If you get paid 1 salary, don't try to do the work of 2 people
Most managers are really bad at management.
Dilbert is a documentary.
This company is far from "agile." They refuse to shuffle staff adequately for new large projects.
@1tgp: I'm doing the same in an entirely different sector, but my boss is still an id--t with no empathy and respect for the others, and just asking for a long-overdue vacation or a day off becomes an act of great courage. All the projects are already late from day one, and there's absolutely no wiggle room in the very aggressive, unreasonable schedules, I can relate to what the OP is describing.
So, don't complete the deadlines. Are they actually going to fire anyone at a time they can't find talent?
I stopped caring over a year ago. I'll work, but it gets done when it gets done, in a reasonable timeframe. The increases still occur, life continues.
