I don't think the ELT and SLT have any control over schools. And, how uneducated our country has become has been a work in progress for more than 20 yrs, so you can't blame the ELT and SLT for that. Instead, blame them for being smart enough to take advantage of it and have multi-million $ salaries/bonuses while we get poorer.

Where did all the extremely personal data I had to submit for my accommodation go though? You’d think this reversal would open Cisco to legal headaches but I guess the legal team has that covered. I like Cisco overall, I do think we are too involved with politics and work policy instead of growing the business, but I am deeply hurt for what they did to me over this vaccine. Thankfully I never went out and got it. I can’t imagine how people who really didn’t want it but didn’t know how to use title 7 feel right now. Probably utterly betrayed.
And since this is exactly what hundreds of not thousands of medical experts with direct experience in epidemiology said was going to happen vaccine or not, it really does seem malicious how they sent that email with such a timeline that you would legit be scared to be out on unpaid loa (laid off) if you didn’t rush out and get it.
Will see, since the majority of people are not smart enough to use the system to take action against this type of behavior, this will likely go unpunished, just like chucks comments that were all too stupid to understand Ukraine/Russia and we should feel bad because he had to ki-l civilians in Russia by stopping service to hospitals.

This company also celebrates G-y Pride month and supports BLM - from the very top to the worker bees. Everyone here just adheres to the guidelines. I haven't heard a single antivaxx/wokeness/blm complaint here. We just do our jobs, get along, enjoy the tremendous company growth for the past 2 years and everybody seems happy. WFH or hybrid work has been a policy here since the pandemic and it's staying this way for the forseeable future - coming from the CEO himself. He said our earnings were so good, we all should WFH more at our post earnings company meeting. Having said that, I, personally go to work every day since I enjoy seeing my colleagues, love the freebies food and the gym. Why all the hate at Cisco??"
Unfortunately, Cisco's Leadership allowed this vitriol towards other employees and honestly seemed to be cheering it on since they did nothing about it which is why people feel emboldened to call others names, wish them to be fired and worse as there are no consequences when those actions come from one side. You can guess which side gets a pass on their poor behavior. It's honestly a shame as I know many tech companies who are thriving like you are saying, but here is Cisco with it's employees at each others throats. While I think there are some good people still there I am very happy to have left awhile ago.

Vaccine mandate from Cisco was stupid from the start. Especially when almost everyone was working from home anyways. I’m happy they got rid of it and now we can all just move on.
Yes, Cisco finally followed the science for once. The mandate was mo--nic to begin with. The shot certainly didn’t do any good at CiscoLive. Everyone I know who went got sick.
