It has been a while since the big deal went down with Sears Hometown Stores getting purchased by TransformCo which begs the question if more purchases could be on the way for TransFormCo? Would they buy a fameous brand like WhirlPool or another store like Ace Hardware? I could see TransformCo buying a smaller chain store to fight back against competition like WalMart by supporting small towns with a retail store people like over shopping at WalMart or Lowes. I think TransformCo needs to focus on Small towns where there is no Target and No WalMart & be a helper to those communities. Then after years of sucsess they can try to build new Sears and Kmart stores in big cities and they will win back customers. I hope TransformCo can make this happen, but honestly not sure they will because it seems like they arent even trying anymore so then whats the point of these stores staying open, close them all already or sell them to Carlos Slam and bring Sears Mexico to the United States of American.

They should buy Big Lots out of bankruptcy! They could turn them into smaller Kmarts. ❤️
@1sbv Good point. The KMart in Bishop California did a huge business with the residents and vacation owners in Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. My sister-in-law always shopped there to replenish kitchen and household items as did all the other residents and vacation home owners. It was much more convenient than hauling stuff up from LA and elsewhere. Was shocked when they closed it. The building is now a grocery store.
I think they should try opening stores
In high tourism areas.
I seen wear they be thinking bout buying super fund sights.
