Saw a couple of posts today on Linkedin covering layoffs at VMware. A few of them were written by recruiters who lost their job. Anyone sees any more?

50 plus people impacted. The whole Emerging Talent function was let go. First team in HR/Talent acquisition to go. Next ones expected in January.
why would a public post on linkedin be removed?
I'm part of TA and I can confirm that the Emerging Talent Team( University Recruiting) is being let go. It was announced by the global VP of TA via email and was communicated to us on a call. They did not specify how many were affected but I'm guessing almost all since university hiring will be paused until FY24.
The post would probably be removed had they done that
