does anyone know which paycheck the raises are effective in?
@1rvk yes, but when they do things like this, they do it with little transparency. Look at some of the posts here since news of it broke. People feel left out and are going nuclear.

The criteria is retention. If you didn't get a raise there are 3 reasons
- your band is too high
- you're already paid at or above everyone at your level
- you were deemed expendable and not worth spending additional dollars to retain.
@fpa+1dPF2MDs par for the course... don't expect anything less from GF. It's all the result of some calculation. How little can they do to get the max positive result
tip for anyone in GF management that might be reading this. Great, you decided to do something
here's an additional tip to reduce resentment from the 50% that didn't get raises -- be transparent about the criteria you used. That's both the data you used to determine who deserved a raise, and then the data you used to determine how much ("market" = local, industry or both?)
They’re only giving it to certain people although every last one of us has faced sh---y raises since the inception of this sh-t ho-e.
50% of employees level 1 to 9 are receiving market adjusted raises. Or so I've heard. Talks should be happening for everyone this week. I know 4 people that have already been given theirs.
