Im realtively new to Cisco < 1 year and I have no clue if CX org is safe from layoffs.. Is CX business critical to Cisco??

You should have been worried the day before you put in for a job there. You've just made what we call an unforced error. The ELT at cisco will teach you more about unforced errors and how to do this 8 hours a day if they haven't already.
CX = Customer eXit. If no customers, why do expect to have job? Do you think Cisco is a charity with free handouts?

There are folks that are highly protected due to certain circumstances. I have been apart of an org for 5 years that has never had a single LR.
Why are you even here if you are fairly new. If you are already worried - why did you even join Cisco? God save your job as Cisco is not inventing anything and to keep shareholders happy - they have to cut jobs to save costs. The only hope you have is that all CEO's like ELON asks everyone to return to office so you need Infra and might save some HW days for Cisco...
V2Momma owns CX and her mission is to cut cost by all means possible. Her sign-on bonus was a whooping $15 millions.
There is no hiding place in Cisco, but if you have connections, you become untouchable.

Is it specific to role/region or just the entire CX is in danger?
I just left CX a month ago for a different org. I saw quite a few warning signs inside of CX. Best to avoid IMHO

Im an op..I have been pretty worried these days about layoffs and hoping to gtfo of Cisco asap if layoffs wave come.. Can someone please give more info on CX and wtfs gonna happen
