Since closing of Belk fulfillment center at Jonesville in South Carolina next month and layoff 310 Belk workers, I wonder why we are doing inventory this summer may be we are the “Burlington Coat Factory” store and fulfillment center now? I asked my human resource manager today and she said inventory is not for selected Belk stores but for all 300 stores! If this is not a big red flag then what is going on this summer and I am sure we don’t have a beach party at Belk stores?

@1qaz Bravo you hit the nail right on the head.
Obviously so many folks are angry because Belk is on the brink of liquidation and they hate it when someone telling them the truth. It is what it is folks.
Whatever happened to all one belk, belk strong supporters? Have they updated their resumes for other job when all stores closing this year?
@pjm, I agree! Same person! Always “stupid Belk”, “ stupid belk managers “, “stupid Belk executives”. Oh, and all those endless citations! “Don’t pi$$/ say it’s raining” . Ewww! Obviously arrested development and probably a psychopath considering immediate angry reaction on criticism.
Liquidation or layoff makes sense to you? At least these posts do not call Belk associates as stupid workers and Belk company as sweatshop retail thrift store? The truth is hurting you so much if you can’t stand the heat get out of Belk kitchen!
these posts are mostly from the same person. referring to employees as "belk workers" and belk as "belk company", the posts have bad english and make no sense. does anyone new have anything to say on here?
Sorry seems to be the hardest word for Belk stupid company! What do I have to do to make you love Belk workers?
I'm sure it's to correct On hands . So fulliment doesn't have to cancel online orders . And I'm sure theft is a problem with no in store workers also
All my bags are packed I am ready to go. I am standing here outside your door. I hate to wake you up to say goodbye!
i am leaving on the Belk jet plane…Bye!
