Thread regarding SAP layoffs

It will be difficult to improve morale

After such poorly conducted layoffs, which, among other things, is reflected in their negligence to give employees all the necessary information, I think it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to restore morale among the employees who remain. Morale was never this low, or at least I don't remember it being this bad, and I've been with this company for many years.

Not with current leadership in place. And not with Walldorf running strategy as far as cloud is concerned. They simply never got it and still don’t get it. CK is not the right caliber of leader SAP needs; no vision, micro manager and you feel like you need a shower after he speaks.

I was wondering about the visiting various office thing. The Lake Mary, FL office was hot hard (possibly completely) and we’re 30 mins from Sapphire. Are we going to get visitors this year? I hope they’re not disappointed if employees aren’t super happy and welcoming. The highest person to ever actually visit is Andreas.

Bless you... you think that about employee morale and happiness they give a rats ar-e?
They care about themselves, doing the opposite of what they preach, and keeping shareholders happy. Employees are just entries in spreadsheets, otherwise they'd have handled the current layoffs with a lot more preparedness and much better communication.

I have seen many, many rounds of layoffs at SAP and nothing has changed. There will always a new batch of blue kool-aid drinking sheeps joining. They heard that it is very easy to slack off at SAP, get free food and take naps anytime in one of the napping pods.

The company will always be one of the best places to work based on some shady rankings from Glassdoor and other employment organizations. People have to stay because they need the pay cheque to support their families even if they have to deal with poor leadership and management. Morale is always bad at this place but employees are afraid to speak up or rock the boat because they don't want to be tagged as a trouble maker. Unless there is a major overhaul and clean house at all levels, nothing will change. It is a very sad situation ....

Remain at your own risk. THEY do not care.

I think it will take time and new hires to recover. Perhaps even better compensation increases.
