@f0+1k1be653p, Well said! I heard something similar: they hired a highly reputed vendor to implement a cloud solution, but after a few months of work, they realized it was progressing too quickly. They planned to engage another vendor and restart the work from scratch later. :-)

Illumina is doing that for us. How can we get meaningful work done when the only “strategy” is to shuffle departments every few weeks? What is my job tomorrow? Next week? Who knows!!! Maybe I’ll report to a VP, maybe I’ll have reports, maybe all the planning I did for 2025 goes out the window (plot twist, it already did). There is no mission, strategy or vision. So as a result, those under the circus ringleaders are trying to hit a perpetually moving target. The moment you start to get things done, they’ll change everything and we start from scratch. I’ve never felt more like a hamster on a wheel.
