@1pin Those were Chambers and ELT 100 priorities. The difference here is all these 9 priorities are being scrutinized weekly to all individual contributors. There is going to be some attrition for sure if all the B.S. stands.
Lets focus on 9 things....not 2 or 4 but 9!
Clearly you weren't around when John Chambers (the previous and oddly beloved CEO) had 36 first priorities and was working on having 100 first priorities the following year.
the beatings will continue until morale improves
You fall within 3 columns Achieving, progressing, not meeting expectations for the following. Attainment, Forecast accuracy, Pipeline Coverage ration, Pipeline coverage participation, customer 4 life, IAP/ITP, growth sprints, MEDDPICC. Lets focus on 9 things....not 2 or 4 but 9!
My question is if you ki-l it in attainment does anyone care about the next 8
Any details of the metrics being introduced?
Being in sales I can't wait for these new weekly commit calls. "Don't focus on the numbers focus on the metrics and the numbers will follow". That is just another way of saying "what has worked for years doesn't matter, do this because I've seen it work". That takes a lot of trust in that leader and I'm not sure that trust is present.
