It amazes me that people come here to talk about the problems at GloFo so that it may get better for all of us, and they’re met with disrespect and criticism.
- The point is simply to acknowledge that pay does not seem competitive so that we may retain talent, which would improve the organization operationally. It takes about two to three years of training for people to even be semi-independent here.
- The point is to acknowledge that our buying power has decreased every year since the 1950’s, and while corporations still see record profit and have stayed mostly on track with inflation, they try to keep as much of it in their pocket. So where does it trickle down? Inflation has far outpaced workers for a long time.
- You have the right in this country to organize together so that you have any power at all at the bargaining table when it comes to wages and better treatment.
So why do so many of you just hate your fellow co-workers on here who are actually fighting for you?
It seems that HR and SLT are influencers of this dialogue.
