Are you referring to an article written in 2019 as if it was announced this month? PEP will be out of the OPO after their lease period is up in 2029.

Give me my severance pay and let me get out of this disorganized glorified sweatshop. I imagine that once robotics can take over deliveries and production - the only ones left working for this nightmare company will be Ramon and a few of his cohorts in Plano and Chicago. Everyone else will be GBS. That sure makes me smile, huh Ramon!

PepsiCo will leave Chicago after the reaming lease is done at OPO. 6 years left or so. They will let people WFH or push to Plano.

Chicago office remains open. They just signed a lease few days ago to move to another building in downtown Chicago. The lease was signed for 8 years like a month ago. It’s not on chopping block.

Surprising PepsiCo has any corporate functions or office facilities in Illinois. The Chicago office has been on the chopping block for years. Look for it to go next.
