Always joked that Baker should just buy back Gas Power instead of stocks when they had cash, but unfortunately stock buy back is more popular with the market. Never say never but a full merger to fold one under the other seems like a tough sell to share holders. Re-align bits and pieces at the end of "transitional agreement" and less dysfunctional collaborations -- still dysfunctional but more like when everyone was under GE banner -- is more probable and could benefit both.

Is there a merger down the road once both have become their better selves?
Power knew, especially engineering, but Baker had cash so no reason to accept Culpable's price and Culpable was happy to have less people that he needed to layoff anyway. Would not surprise me if Power gets more old O&G parts back.
