I think it depends on the division. A friend in retail told me her boss told of layoffs coming this week. Like others have posted I heard of some happening mid Feb. And for Op/Risk I was told sometime in March since they are “still working on what can be offshore or redistributed”. In a nutshell, a lot of people are in the dark and all this helps ramp up the employee stress.

By Citi standards, the Feb layoffs will be announced in May
It will most likely be in March. It has to happen by the end of the quarter. They are just now identifying what roles they need. They will then figure out who gets what role and then layoff who hasn’t been selected.
Probably the week of the 20th. It seems to be trending the like that since Nov.
