NCR Voyix health coverage is sub par at best. Now they are only covering 40% for family coverage. I don't why anyone with a family would stay with company. that's over 10k taking out of your pay! The average for California employers is pay 83% your premium.

@jreb+1v6Nmr2J, employee+children is cheaper than employee+family. This helps but depends on the spouse's coverage, could be better or worse for him/her.

Agreed...this one really s*ck! I would still have to pay the "family" rate since I still have children as dependents. On top of that, my spouse now have to go pay for health insurance at her employer, which would be much higher than that surge charge. SMFH

@1oik+1v6Nmr2J - Voyix would not know, but the first time an insurance claim for the spouse is filed, the insurance company would investigate. They do a complete background check on the person the claim has been filed on. Once they find out that there was other coverage available and that the insured had lied or perceived that they were deceitful, not only would they deny the claim but also terminate all coverage. (sorry, it's in the fine print that you agree too when signing up). Nothing new, it's legal, Su-ks but when you're a company struggling, you cut corners anywhere you can. Looks like Voyix is stuggling....

How would Voyix even know if your spouse has a job, let alone has insurance offered? Are you required to disclose anything like that to Voyix? Is it allowed in the application?

It’s not so much as not BS as needed clarification. As previous poster said, if your spouse has access to insurance through their job, no more just paying the surcharge and having them on NCR. Which kind of su-ks because our insurance is actually better than my husband’s, but in 2025, he’ll have to go on his company insurance.

Not BS, if employee’s spouse can get insurance from their employer, there is no more option to pay the surcharge and keep them on NCR Voyix insurance.

I suspect this thread is BS, if it were true people would be losing their minds.

Su-ks to be you. Is she uninsurable? That'd be my first question.

No changes here. My whole family remains enrolled just fine, thanks.

Obviously though, this is a situation that highly varies by country. That said, I've always found the NCR benefits to be pretty middle of the road. Certainly not great, but not too bad either. Surprisingly better than what some union folks I know are offered by their employers.
