Deal can fail with a greater probability and the execs now decided to start next year with a massive RIF of around 2k if that happens. Be ready for the movie on screen.

@2elh+1vwhDeGg, I guess I have a different vision of what TALENT is. Just because it's a popular name at Juniper, doesn't mean they are talent.
I know alot of popular names who flat out su-ks.
| Better yet, would the Yankees release Aaron Judge? Would the Lakers release Lebron James? Would the Chiefs release Patrick Mahomes?
Lakers definitely need to release Lebron and his sub-par offspring. Talk about a failing product line.....
I couldn't find the options to sell my stocks:(
Great analogy this ....
Better yet, would the Yankees release Aaron Judge? Would the Lakers release Lebron James? Would the Chiefs release Patrick Mahomes?
You clearly haven't worked at Juniper long enough, they absolutely would get rid of talent, and have done so many times
@1vxp+1vwhDeGg Dude just stop. If you are posting these things, you are the one wanting current employees to leave so that they won't cut your fatty job.
Deal or no deal, fat trimming always takes place. They won't lay off massive TALENT. Layoffs occur due to underperformers and redundant roles. Been that way since jobs were invented.
Would you eat a fatty steak? Nope.
Better yet, would the Yankees release Aaron Judge? Would the Lakers release Lebron James? Would the Chiefs release Patrick Mahomes?
The answer is no. They perform and make money for their teams. If they su-k, then yes.
Catch my drift here?
Either way deal or no deal massive layoffs will occur no matter what!
At this point i will volunteer to be laid off

There are several overlapping products between HPE and JNPR and DoJ will ask how the merger can do justice to the overlapping products.
The likelihood that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) would block the Juniper Networks-HPE merger appears relatively low, given the regulatory environment so far. The European Commission and the U.K.'s Competition and Markets Authority have already cleared the deal, with both concluding it would not raise substantial competition concerns. The DOJ typically takes into account the assessments of other major regulators, which may bode well for the merger's prospects.
Key considerations include the fact that Juniper and HPE are not considered each other's closest competitors in key markets, reducing the potential for anti-competitive issues. Moreover, there is still strong competition from other major players in the networking and IT infrastructure sectors, helping to mitigate any monopoly concerns.
Provided sources of this layoff number or perhaps WHY you “think” this way. Otherwise this thread can be classified just like EVERY single thread from 2024, which have been 100% false.
And stock is going to text to $20 next week. Only god in the form of DoJ can help this sinking ship.
