Why not move to a more desirable place like Dallas after all these bi-monthly devastating storms? Houston is humid and dangerous. Why do all these oil companies HQ out of Houston?

Chevron is moving to Houston. Will make it simpler to absorb you when they acquire you! Need something to move your stock value besides middle east tension. Apparently it's too hard to find oil if you can't buy it from someone else.
I always bring my own alcohol and g-ns when I go gambling.
It doesn’t matter where you go in Texas. It is the same nonsense. No gambling, no recreational wd, but lots of g-ns and alcohol.
The old timers should remember when the international company( which was the bulk of Oxy) was slated to move from Bakersfield to Dallas. That was cancelled and the company ended up moving to Houston because that is where the oil business is. It was the correct decision.
HUMID and dangerous?
Oh no!! Not humidity!!!!!!
There is no O&G talent in Dallas. If people leave, you cant quickly replace them like you can in Houston. Its actually worse going forward since Exxon acquired so many DFW companies and moved all the talent to Houston.
@1hog, Oxy has had a very large office / presence in Dallas for many years. Pay attention son.
@1nyi+1tqZOGBU Is that what you guys said over Piper Alpha?
Play nice children.
Don't come to Dallas. We don't want that Oxy filth here.
Yep, I can see where living in the tornado belt would be desirable... Anyone remember the tornado that ripped thru downtown Fort Worth?
That’s where your current and future employee base is.
Houston is very undesirable to live in I agree
