I no longer care what will happen to this company, because like many, I consider X dead. The manager tries to overwork employees in vain, because no one wants to do anything more than the bare minimum. All I'm interested in is how to get a new offer somewhere else as soon as possible and forget about this place.
The problem is that hardly anyone who has been here for a long time is now marketable. People's skills have atrophied. What are your experiences with looking for a new job? I'm slowly becoming desperate and I don't know what to do to upgrade my skillset in a short time and increase my chances of getting a better job.

Yes I do love my new job and make way more $ than I was at X
I was on this site because I had surgery this week and resting at home and I have friends that foolishly still work at X so I occasionally check out this website to let them know what has been posted as they don't want to access this site from work

If your skills are not marketable, that's all on you. I kept all my skills up to date on my own, and I would bring them into my job when applicable.
There are tons of companies hiring, and with competition for workers they will hire people even with outdated skills as long as you are willing to learn.
