Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Cuts starting tomorrow

Heard from VP that more cuts to come. All aspects starting with on site associates, sales, technical services etc. Wiping out the road for Q2 earnings.

10% of payroll not 10% of employees as stated.

Nobody is saying there were zero cuts. Just a lot less than the 10% people predicted without even working at the company. I’m also part of the groups and didn’t see more than 5 people stating their jobs were eliminated. I’m sure there are more but definitely an overstated prediction.

I have seen both posts on Xerox groups on Facebook and people I know on Linkedin. For those who want to deny there were cuts on Thursday and Friday keep living in your fantasy world. It did happen and they are just better at hiding the cuts now.

Brazil is rich in Q starter ash properties (which is the best you can get), raw materials and is a logistical checkmate when you factor in their favorable port laws. It's high time we look to our partners in the southern hemisphere for cooperation on these matters. We could use this scenario to capitalize off from what we have and use that to work with our customers that are experiencing a back ordered billing contract.

At the dealer level you can ask your colleagues and they will tell you that if it's only a core based solution then we're still seeing revenue cascading upwards which is great in this economy and under this administration. Under these aggressively optimal futures we can still provide a superior product with superior at a fair price.

In my opinion we have the best team hands down not a doubt in my mind. Cuts, leadership changes, supply chains, pandemic, nothing is going to stop this team. The beat goes on ladies and gentlemen just another day at the office. Still money to be made.

Buy two Versant Drums or Toners and we’ll include 5 for free. Just pay separate shipping & handling.

They need to shut down this pathetic company and put all of you out of your misery!
The fact that you defend company who continually screws you over speaks volumes about you, not them
Please don't come apply where I work!!!

Ok, then what were the stats today on the number of layoffs tough guy? Oh you don’t know? Yeah that’s right, you don’t even work at Xerox. Aren’t you that pathetic color analyst from Canada that got let go years ago?

Nothing shouts credibility like someone saying, “fake news.” If you believe this is all fake I got some real cheap Versant drums and toner for you?

So the OP ([Original Poster] for boomers), said at 6:45pm Wednesday that cuts were happening Thursday.

It’s now past 2:00pm EST on Friday, and I have heard of 1 person confirmed laid off since this was posted.

this site is a joke haha.

Pray your on the list. Get put out of your misery, and be forced to move on to something better. It will be the biggest favor xerox does for you (probably the only one.. ). Once you get over the initial reaction, you'll be much happier and wondering why you didn't leave years ago.

Cutting in finance as you are transitioning to a new ERP system seems like a great way to end x’s days as a public company. If you like chaos, this is where you want to be in the next 12 months.

@1nsm
Nope, not a creeper....just on here occasionally for a good laugh!
You loyal to X id--ts need some self confidence to get out from the cult and get a real job, it's quite pathetic when you look at it.
I just got a 7% raise plus 5% cost of living increase from my job, what did you get?
I come here to try to tell you fools that once you leave and get a job elsewhere is when you will see what suckers you are!!!

No BS, today was just the start, never said these were going to be thousands, actions are set to continue thru end of month...this totally unrelated to the CBS & Direct merger that's the next step after this 'initial' clean happens.

Everyone should realize that this post was BS.
Maybe 2 or 3 people left.. out of 25,000.

It’s sad how many people in my core say..- “oH mY GoD, Did YoU SeE wHaT wAs PoStEd oN tHe LaYoFf?”

And then I come in this website and lose a few more brain cells reading these post.

My god, I thought we stopped hiring interns years ago? Hold old are you all? Grow up.
