Globalfoundries to Chewy, interesting move - CFO

"PLANTATION, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Chewy, Inc. (NYSE: CHWY) (“Chewy”), a trusted destination for pet parents and partners everywhere, announced today the appointment of David Reeder as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective February 14, 2024."

I guess making pet related products is even more interesting than working at GlobalFoundries. Certainly, in his CFO role he was paid very well (sold many millions of stock the past year) but it seems the marriage ended quickly between him and CEO. I suspect as GF looks for a new CEO to replace existing one that DR was passed over which is why he is leaving GF. It is pretty crazy someone would leave a Semiconductor Company as number two in charge to go into the Pet food, etc business instead, things at the top of GF must be really bad for something like this to happen.

Let's see if this post is removed, the previous one was!!!! Must have received too many likes/up-votes.

Come on not everyone is leaving the company look at the French mafia women leader IF growing up the ranks every two years and almost ready to become a CEO after being the darling amongst all the executives

@1nmd, why wouldn't people care, the #2 in charge running our company who was supposed to become CEO at a company leaves to sell dog food, something isn't quite right in paradise. GF has become a revolving door, everyone continues to exit the company, it is ki-ling innovation and competitiveness.
