The management website was removed at the REQUEST of the managers..
None of the managers sees any upside to being so publicly affiliated with OXY.

It’s down because they are busy creating new titles. E.g.: EVP Wealth Destruction; VP Douchbaggery; VP Futile and Worthless Gestures; VP Tomfoolery; etc., etc.

The site is in Jimmy Hoffa's shirt pocket.

Maybe a conspiracy of dunces!

Why did it disappear? It's simple. It's a conspiracy. The EC came in in the middle of the night and made it "disappear". They also destroyed all evidence of aliens, bigfoot, and how we faked the lunar landing. If they find out that I told you, I might "disappear" too! Wait a minute, do I hear footsteps?

@4zfw+18e7UMEh

Then when did it disappear? Either someone f—ed up or they f—ed up.

All this side show is just excuse making. Which is par for the course for an underperforming company like Oxy. Always someone else's fault.

So you think the site vanished "after people noticed it"? Right, people noticing a executive position had the company shaking in their boots. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the company doesn't really care what you notice.

2 points.

  1. There are other ways to look up execs if you're that interested.
  1. Please wipe the drool off your chin.

@3fbq+18e7UMEh they did publish a new org chart renoving Sandy Lowe's b—s— position but adding a new equivalent b—s— position for JB.

After people noticed it, the site vanished. So yeah, clearly they're trying to do something, but failed at doing so. They probably let Yanni have access to SharePoint again. #incompetence

Why else would a change be published and then be hidden? I relish your Rudy Giuliani attempts to change the narrative, because reality is a b–ch.

I guess you think the company is hiding its executive staff? There are other ways to know. I think its time to move on, don't you? Go somewhere where you will be happier.

@1ncx+18e7UMEh your defense is "there used to be no internet"?

Good lord, Oxy hires mo–ns these days.

There was a time when Oxy was respected. But that was a long time ago. Now access to information and timely updates of that information is just as important to everyone.

The spin that Oxy put on the departure of its Oxy Chem leader and the fact that only after this site called it out that the mgmt page was removed because it was still outdated proves that it was a mistake.

The leadership obviously have some of you pledging undying loyalty but I am just here for the check and believe me its not even that good anymore and I am looking hard for a new role. The market is down and yet when I have interviewed, the team fully understands why I want off this sinking ship and leave during this chaos. I guess yall are just the string quartet who wants to sink with it.

There was a time before the internet where recruiting was done in the newspapers and through headhunters. Oxy did better with recruiting back then. They were very selective as to who they hired.

Therw was a time before the internet when there was no leadership page or any page at all for that matter. We seemed to make it just fine. So now if it is not kept up to date (which adds 0 to the bottom line), you guys melt down? Just do your job snowflake.

@1irz+18e7UMEh let me guess, you work or IT or HR?

It's not like Oxy is Salesforce and this is the one odd thing. This is just one more hilarious lack of competency.

Lack of senior management disclosure is a symptom of a company FUBAR. Not surprising.

Sounds like this is only of extreme importance to the complainer chorus on this site. Believe me, it's not that big of a deal. Most people don't care, and it's at the bottom of some admin's to do list. Suggesting it reflects on anything important is a false argument created to make a point that doesn't exist.

Since Oxy has run itself into the ground the execs prefer to remain anonymous. It’s embarrassing to be known as part of this massive destruction of wealth. Clowns!

I am sorry but did you really just ask why its important to list your leadership?

Not saying it needs to be public but let's look as why they are asking about it and checking.

Recently, your top exec for your chem branch leaves and the very next day gets a shout out in the news for making a move to a competitor when just 24 hours prior, your CEO wishes them well in their retirement. A few weeks go by and its still up on the mgmt page for all the public to see that the old guy is still "in charge"

  • When you appoint a replacement; it still stated the old guy.

There was a post earlier that said if these easy fix details are getting overlooked just how are the other more important things being handled.

Thats why you should know your leadership.

I check every day to see if there is a leadership page. I just can’t function without one. I’ll keep checking it and I’ll report back to this website regularly with my amazement and disgust.

How in the world can i possibly do my job without a leadership page? I have to know who my boss's boss's boss reports to or i just can't be efficient. I've probably lost 2 or 3 hours looking for it just today.

Who care if is a leadership page is posted or not? Why care if a leadership page is posted or not?

@fms+18e7UMEh clearly someone did otherwise they wouldn't have posted it...

Speaks volumes to the incompetence of Oxy. Find a real company, much less a "major company" that doesn't have a leadership page posted.
