Seriously, EC does not care about you, they didn’t care about you before you became an employee and won’t care about you when you get terminated. Whether it’s tomorrow or next week it’s still going to be cold and impersonal…and Walt’s email afterwards will be like the others before.

But rejoice, there WILL be additional restructuring cuts in 2024!

The only thing more hilarious than the trolls are the folks who come here to defend the EC and senior leadership

Probably the same folks who believed Walt when he says severance is a drop in the bucket with the $$ they’re trying to save, like they haven’t been trying to force people out since June

What OP is getting at is that senior leadership has no idea what is going on at the company at the tactical level because everyone around them just says what they wanna hear, one of the reasons we are in this mess. If you’re in the group of “If they paid me that much I’d do it too” congratulations on having the backbone of a jellyfish
