Typical SanDisk garbage. God knows why anyone even buys our cr-p anymore when there are plenty of better alternatives from Samsung, Micron, Solidigm, etc... WD must of lost the memo... Quality was what built their empire. Buying the HGST HDD fab helped them limp along awhile longer, but eventually the entire business became tainted with bureaucracy, dead weight, and quality leaks. Maybe treat the people making your actual product a little better and do what is required to secure people with actual talent instead of lifers with rest & vest mentality.

Could probably give DG's total comp to the factory workers as incentive pay and you would be putting the dollar to much better use.

Dropping the HR division and legal team on their a-s would help as well.

@1lyt+1pyt2aXF It should not have been a defect escape. Still doing in house PCBA design in an ODM world? In-house design is low value add work, but change is hard
