Yes, absolutely they should do that. Oracle lawyers don't have enough work, by doing this they will be able to bill hundreds of thousands of hours defending constructive dismissal and illegal change to terms of emplyment law suites. At least in countries where there is real employee protection laws.......sorry USA.
Should O convert all support org to gig workers based on Uber model ? Work as much or as little.

from what I saw in development Fusion departments - teams without much live customers were eliminated. If you got support for multiple paying customers - probably safe. for now.
