Should we expect pay raises this year?

I’m pretty sure raises will be forthcoming. The future is looking bright and those who perform will be rewarded handsomely.
@4yhx+19K8KQTm You don't know my situation but I assure you that I'm not at all reliant on the small income that i bring in from BBBY. This gig is just something to do. I can always return to the Federal sector should I feel like it but I don't want to work in such a serious and stressful environment at the moment. I was only inquiring about pay because I was confused by the increase as I wasn't expecting it. Furthermore, if my store closes, the store closes. Sure I'll miss my coworkers but it's not the end of the world and I'd find another part time job.
If I were you I would be more concerned that the store stayed open. More layoffs and closures are coming throughout the whole retail sector.
I heard all cashiers at my store got raises.
I have t had one myself in 2 years.

You can probably expect raises if you leave Bloodbath.
No raise here but I am also tapped out for raises. Now I have zero desire to do anything extra at work. No raise, no motivation.
If you got a raise in January, did minimum wage go up where you live? Raises were usually around 2-4% so I never saw a regular annual raise for 75 cents.
I wasn't expecting nor looking for one but I did get a raise in January. I had no idea all this time because I don't check my statements regularly but I happened to look this past week and there it was. It's only 75 cents and I just reached 1 year with the company. Anyway I was under the impression that raises were out of the question for now. I was surprised.
Just hope your store stays open. More layoffs and closings are coming.
